The gas bottle must be filled and must not be icy. It is advisable to warm up the bottle at room temperature for a while before use.
After the grill has been ignited, the start button must be held down for a while at a minimum. The gas flowing in (a regular clicking sound can be heard) must first be able to distribute itself in the grill, the start button must not be released immediately after ignition. When pressed, the control dial can be turned to the maximum and the grill works perfectly. This can take up to 2 minutes.
Check once whether the thermal sensor (at the back of the inner area of the grill) is free of fat deposits. It may well be that fat or protein residues have stuck to the sensor, especially when thick slices of meat have been grilled. These can easily be removed with warm soapy water and a small brush.
